In September 2108 we attended the International Conference on Caloric Cooling in Darmstadt.

Our contributions were in the field of magnetocalorics and elastocalorics:

• Rare-earth-free magnetic field source (invited talk),
• Magnetocaloric wine cooler with rare-earth-free magnet assembly,
• Challenges in designing elastocaloric regenerators.
