The 3Diverse project aims to introduce an overarching, multidimensional strategy for planning and implementing investments in sustainable energy infrastructure. This integrated, cross-sectoral, and multi-layered approach intelligently coordinates sustainable energy infrastructure investments by linking architecture, energy networks, transportation, and renewable energy generation.
The main mission of the 3Diverse project is to bring about sustainable change in the Savinjsko-Šaleška Valley. The aim of the project is to strengthen the transition of the Savinjsko-Šaleška region, which is heavily dependent on coal, to a more environmentally friendly and energy-efficient landscape that could serve as a model for green change both within the region and beyond the borders of the European Union.
The 3Diverse project is based on collaboration. With a compass focused on cross-sector collaboration at the local level, the 3Diverse project aims to improve the coherence of energy transition governance. This will be achieved by fostering meaningful dialogue between different stakeholders and improving the capacity of public authorities to lead projects that are consistent with the country’s and Europe’s energy and climate goals.
