The aim of the applied research project is the development of a micro thermoelectric auxiliary heat pump. The heat pump is adapted for the renovation of old buildings during the transition from older generations to newer generations of district heating systems. By providing an energy-efficient, quiet, and compact alternative for increasing temperature at individual local heating devices, this project contributes to a sustainable energy transition in the district heating and building sectors, while also improving living comfort.
