The LAHDE research team is proud to host the 11th IIR International Conference on Solid State Cooling, Heating, and Energy Harvesting (THERMAG XI) from June 7 to 11, 2026 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
This prestigious event is organized in collaboration with the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana.
Held every two years, this highly anticipated conference offers a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, explore innovative technologies, and showcase groundbreaking research to a global audience.
At THERMAG XI, our goal is to connect cutting-edge developments in:
- New alternatives or hybrids for cooling and heat pumping,
- Thermal energy harvesting and storage,
- Sensorics, and
- Thermal control device designs,
with the latest trends caloric materials:
- processing methods, and
- characterization techniques.
We will also emphasize the design, simulation, and prototyping of devices that are shaping the future of energy-efficient, environmentally friendly solid-state technologies.
